The WV Thunder lost in the championship game Sunday, August 5th, 43-31 to the Sports Strong Club out of the of the Central California District.  Sports Strong went on a 14-2 run to close the game and win the Gold Medal.  The Thunder captured the Silver Medal as Mychal Johnson and Jenna Burdette each scored 12 points.  Jenna Burdette also had 8 steals.  Krista Maynard pulled down a team high 11 boards.
